As a Venture Intern, you will have the following:

  • Investment Thesis: Assist with the development of investment theses in areas such as Media Tech, AI, Edge, Healthcare and Consumer Empowerment.
  • Sourcing: Source, monitor, track, and sector map, startups relevant to our theses.
  • Screening:  Review investment opportunities, including analysis of company overview decks and meetings with entrepreneurs.
  • Analysis/ Due Diligence: Conduct initial research on investment opportunities, including financial and strategic analyses. Assist deal teams on due diligence (external and internal) for potential investments.

Full Time Intern - London

Mubadala European Ventures in London is a €400 million fund established in 2019 to invest in leading
European technology companies. The existing portfolio of investments includes Wefox, Glovo, Cazoo
and Tier Mobility.

We are looking for a smart, ambitious intern, with a demonstrable interest in technology, to start as
soon as possible in our Mayfair, London office. You will be part of a team helping to accelerate our
growing portfolio of European Tech investments and participate in overseeing our evolving portfolio.
We envisage the assignment to be between 4-6 months on either a full-time basis (part-time
considered for exceptional candidates). Whilst an employer open to all, we would especially like to

Summer Intern - Cambridge

Amadeus Capital Partners is offering a 6-8 week internship for one student based at our Cambridge office, with a start date in July 2020.

This internship will provide great insight into the venture capital industry and you will learn about investment decision making by attending management and review meetings. The role will report into an Analyst within our Investment Team and whilst based in Cambridge, occasional travel to our London office may be required.

The internship will cover statistical analysis focused projects including, for example; to analyse funds historic returns by investment and model the distribution of returns compared to our expectations at the time of investment. Your analysis will segment investments across a number of variables, such as stage and sector, in order to analyse a risk-adjusted accuracy. The output of this project will be a risk model which provides a weighting profile which can be applied to project returns of current and future investments. The internship will culminate with a presentation to the Investment team on your findings.
