Midven (now part of Future Planet Capital) is now looking to grow our team by hiring an intern investment associate to work on our UK Innovation & Science Seed Fund (“UKI2S”), an early stage science & technology fund. We are looking for someone who has a passion for early stage companies, particularly those with a science or digital focus.

Finance and Portfolio Operations Associate- London

Kindred is an early-stage venture fund based in London.  We back founders of technology companies at the very beginning of their journey.  Every entrepreneur, adviser, and team member that we work with becomes a co-owner in our fund, which means that everyone shares in the profits of one another’s success – we call it Equitable Venture. We are now investing out of our second £80M fund and have made 13 investments so far. We’re at an exciting stage in our growth as a firm, and we’re looking for an ambitious team player to join us in the journey.

We are looking for a Finance and Portfolio Operations Associate. Day-to-day activities focus on ensuring the Fund is running smoothly through working with various third parties (portfolio company founders, accountants, lawyers, investors), and supporting the CFO on tasks in the areas of compliance, finance, investor relations, portfolio management and portfolio monitoring and reporting.

Insights Analyst - London

Atomico is one of Europe’s largest venture capital firms founded in 2006 by Niklas Zennström.   We are at the centre of the European technology ecosystem and are passionate about continuing to build that ecosystem, and partnering with the most ambitious, mission-driven founders building category-winners.

If you want to be part of a team committed to partnering with game-changing founders, consciously scaling companies in the pursuit of solving world problems at scale, then Atomico is the place for you.  You will be joining a Company which is mission-driven and principles-led, with a one-team approach to converting opportunities and creating value, whilst contributing meaningfully to a better future.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for generating and sharing insights that support the core activities of the firm, including investments. Your contributions will support us to make better decisions and help our team to have more informed conversations with our most important stakeholders, including founders, investors, LPs, and the wider industry.

While this is not an investment role, you will be close to the investment decision-making process, to which we expect you to contribute insights and relationships.

VC Analyst – London

Playfair Capital is one of Europe’s leading early stage VC funds. We’ve been investing since 2013 and have backed over 70 startups to date, including Mapillary (acq. Facebook), CryptoFacilities (acq. We’re sector and geography agnostic, with a singular focus of finding and backing ambitious entrepreneurs who are building innovative tech that is creating new markets or disrupting old ones.

This is a unique opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the UK and European venture capital and startup ecosystems over a 2-year analyst programme. We’re offering you the chance to play a crucial part in a close-knit team, supporting Associates and Partners in all investment related tasks, which will provide you with a holistic overview of the VC business. Your responsibilities will range from deal sourcing and due diligence to working with our portfolio companies. The role will provide you with a great opportunity to learn as part of a small team, work on exciting projects with brilliant founders, build your network and kickstart your career.
